2023 SENIOR LETTERS DUE FRIDAY APRIL 26th

 

What is a Senior Letter?

Senior Letters are positive letters written to our graduating seniors. They are delivered to seniors at the Senior Picnic during their last week of school.

 

What kinds of things can I write about in a Senior Letter?

There are many acceptable topics for senior letters. These include, but are not limited to:

• Congratulating the senior on graduating

• Wishing the senior well in his/her next phase of life (college, military, career)

• Reminiscing on fond memories (childhood, school, social gatherings, etc

 

When do seniors receive their letters?

Seniors receive their letters at the senior picnic at the end of the year. Seniors who are not able to attend the picnic may pick them up the following week at the school.

 

Please note: We stuff the folders right up until the last minute; they will not be ready until the picnic, so seniors CANNOT pick them up early.

 

When is the Senior Picnic?    The Senior Picnic is in mid May.
 

How do I write a senior letter and get it to a student?

Senior letters can be written on notebook paper, stationary, colored paper. They can be store bought or handmade cards. Please make sure they are in an envelope and write the FULL NAME of the student to whom the letter is addressed. The more information you give us, the easier it is for us to make sure the letter gets to the right person. 

 

What if somebody outside of school (grandparents, family friends, etc..) wants to send a letter?

• People who live locally can mail their letters or bring them to the school and drop them off in the drop box

• People who live farther away can mail their letters or email them to you and you can print them and bring to the school in a sealed envelope with the student’s name

 

There will be a Senior Letter drop box just inside the visitor door at the Main Office at school

 

Can people send items other than letters?

No, we can only accept cards or letters. If people want to send gifts to the student, please have them send it directly to your house.

  

When can I begin turning in Senior Letters?

We are accepting them now!  Please note the deadline is Friday, April 26th.  After that we will need time to sort and organize them.
